FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We’ve answered your most curious and common questions about starting the customized packaging process and beyond.
Ah, yes this question. The answer is not necessarily – no. The best way to get an instant-ish response is to contact us directly! We are able to provide real-time, real expertise and insight (no robots or automation here) regarding your order request from our dedicated sales team. Quotes, however, require a 48 hour turnaround to ensure we provide you with the best quality options at the best prices to fit your order request. Once you submit a quote for a custom packaging style, size, material, and quantity (via our forms) providing us as much info/detail as possible, you’ll get a real HLS.CO Team member response to further assist you in the ordering process.
Turnaround times may vary. All custom orders lead time is based on the design, quality and quantity. Orders can take around 7-10 business days, to two weeks and counting. These turnarounds do not include transit time (1 – 7 business days depending on your location). For all bulk or special custom orders, they may require a few extra days for setup and production. Please note that during extremely busy times of year some orders may take longer to complete. While delivery estimates cannot be guaranteed. If your delivery date is time sensitive, we highly recommend choosing to rush production and expedited shipping.
Pricing generally depends on accounts for these five things:
- Style
- Dimensions
- Artwork coverage
- Ink/Color counts
- Material
- Quantity (higher quantities = steep volume discounts).
If you have questions about pricing or choices that can affect your order, our team of experts are happy to help crunch numbers and customize your order, contact us directly.
Because each of your packages pass through proofing and production at different times and with different requirements, we generally ask that you fill out each form for each projects’ design separately.
However, if you are printing different designs onto the same box/bag/container in the same size, style, and material, please send us a message to see if a special/steep volume order setup could benefit you.
Yes! If you can design it we can customize it. Our printing capabilities span inside and outside the bag, box, container packaging & more!
Our dedicated in-house team will review your order design for any technical concerns (artwork resolution, blurriness, splits, thin lines, and bleeds) and if found, will note them for your attention in the proof. If you’re unsure of how to fix any printing concerns that are noted, our experts are happy to help you through the process. It’s important to keep in mind that our team does not check for spelling or grammar errors, nor do they provide any subjective feedback on design content. We accept .pdf, ai and png files but all vary depending on work, and scale/size & material of packaging.
All new orders will receive a digital or physical proof – prototype, rendering, sample before finalizing the order. Customer must approve all artwork and samples before orders can be placed.
